This week we celebrate our Director Ian Mordue as he marks an incredible 40 years with Masfix. Established by Ian’s father, George Mordue and Ron Slater back in 1982. Ian joined the family business in 1984 where he began his time working in the warehouse, diligently fulfilling orders to now playing a crucial role in steering the company’s growth. Over the years, he has proudly witnessed Masfix evolve into the thriving business it is today.
In 2001 Ian took over the reins from his father to continue his legacy of hard work and commitment which has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success today.
We introduced earlier this year an employee benefit for long serving employees, with 40 years now being reached by some of our team it is only right that we give something back. Ian enjoyed a well-deserved weekend to Lodore Falls in the Lake District alongside his wife Lea. Taking time to take in the beautiful surroundings and relax away from the world of fasteners and fixings.
