Steel Hexagon Rivets Bushes, more commonly known as steel hank bushes, are versatile fasteners used to provide spacing, support, and threaded connections in sheet metal applications. These bushings feature a hexagonal shape with a threaded interior and a knurled or serrated exterior surface.
Hexagon Rivet Bushes offer robust, reusable captive threads in panels as slender as 0.5mm and are not constrained by the utmost hardness or centreline to edge restrictions of self-clinching nuts. Making them perfect for installation into panels of any hardness, like hard stainless steels, or in applications close to the edge.
Manufactured from robust steel, hexagon hank bushes offer excellent strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. The rivet bushes hexagonal body with six point grip provides good resistance to turning and has strong spigot strength to prevent it from being pushed out.
The self-clinching design of hexagon hank bushes allows for easy installation by pressing or squeezing them into a properly sized hole in the sheet metal. The knurled or serrated exterior surface enhances their grip within the sheet metal, preventing rotation or loosening.
Once installed, hexagon hank bushes provide a threaded hole, enabling the insertion of screws, bolts, or other threaded fasteners. This facilitates convenient attachment or adjustment of components in a wide range of applications, including electronics, telecommunications, and industrial equipment.
Choose our steel hexagon hank bushes for their durability, strength, and ease of installation. Experience their ability to provide reliable spacing, support, and threaded connections in your sheet metal projects.
